About Night Pearl

Night Pearl is a Czech manufacturer of thermal imaging and night vision optics founded in 2009. Our devices are designed and engineered in the Czech Republic, and since 2023 we have been operating in the United States from Sarasota, Florida. We are one of the few companies in the world that offers thermal imaging, digital night vision, and daytime optics under a single brand.
Night Pearl products are designed and some of them are manufactured in the Czech Republic (EU). Our optical and mechanical engineering team includes professionals with backgrounds from leading European optics companies including former Meopta engineers. All devices pass full entry and exit quality checks before leaving the factory.
All US orders ship from our stock in Sarasota, FL. We keep inventory on hand in the United States — no international wait times, no customs delays. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days.

Thermal vs Night Vision

Thermal imaging detects heat (infrared radiation) emitted by animals, people, and objects — it works in complete darkness, fog, rain, smoke, and even through light vegetation. It does not need any light to function. Digital night vision amplifies existing light (moonlight, starlight) to produce a visible image — it requires at least some ambient light and does not work in total darkness.
For most hunting scenarios, especially predator, hog, and deer hunting at night, thermal imaging has a significant advantage. You can detect animals at distances of 400–1,900 yards before they are aware of you, and heat signatures cut through brush and darkness. Digital night vision is better suited for close-range identification, low-light environments, or hunters who need to use the device during daylight as well.
Yes. Night Pearl thermal clip-on adapters mount in front of your existing daytime riflescope, converting it for thermal use without removing it from the rifle. Your zero stays intact and your reticle stays in place. This is a cost-effective way to add thermal capability to a scope you already trust. Set your scope to its lowest magnification when using the clip-on for the best image quality.
NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) measures a thermal sensor's sensitivity — how small a temperature difference it can detect. A lower number is better. Night Pearl's STRIX and ALOR series feature sub-20mK NETD sensors, which means they can detect even very small heat differences. This translates directly to a sharper, more detailed image and better detection of partially concealed animals.
Thermal sensor resolution determines the level of detail in the image. Night Pearl devices are available with 256×192px (entry-level detection), 384×288px (mid-range, excellent for hunting), and 640×512px (premium, maximum detail and detection range) sensors. Higher resolution means sharper images and better target identification at longer distances.
Detection range depends on sensor resolution, lens focal length, and target size. Night Pearl STRIX 35 PRO (384×288px) detects a person-sized target at up to approximately 1,300 yards. The STRIX 35 MAX LRF (640×512px) extends detection to approximately 1,900 yards. Detection range is always greater than identification range — you will see a heat signature before you can identify the animal.

Yes. Most Night Pearl thermal and night vision devices feature built-in video recording and photo capture. Files are stored on a MicroSD card or internal memory depending on the model. The Night Pearl app (iOS and Android) allows you to stream and share footage wirelessly from compatible devices. App is developed in Czech Republic - EUROPE. You do not need to afraid share data with us. App is secured.
Yes. Night Pearl offers a dedicated mobile application for iOS and Android. The app allows you to stream the live image from your device, record and share video, rename and organize files, and update firmware. Check your specific model's specifications for app compatibility. Night Pearl devices are weather-resistant and designed for field use in rain and wet conditions. Specific IP ratings vary by model — check the individual product page for your device's rating. Do not submerge any device unless its IP rating specifically allows immersion.
Most Night Pearl thermal monoculars use 18500 or 18650 lithium batteries, with battery life of 6–10+ hours depending on model and usage. Several models support both battery sizes via an included extender. Batteries are included with the device. We recommend keeping a spare charged battery for extended hunts.

Orders ship from our Sarasota, FL warehouse within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days within the continental US. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped.
Yes. Night Pearl USA offers free shipping on all orders to the continental United States. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories may incur additional fees — contact us before ordering if needed.

Returns & Warranty

Night Pearl USA offers a 30-day hassle-free return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. There are no restocking fees. Return shipping is covered by Night Pearl. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.
Night Pearl products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Electro-optic devices carry a warranty of 2–5 years depending on the product line. Night Pearl daytime optics (MANUL, ORYX) carry a lifetime warranty on the optical construction. Contact us at sales@nightpearl-usa.com for warranty details specific to your model.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, component failures, and workmanship issues under normal use conditions. It does not cover physical damage from drops or impacts, water damage beyond the device's IP rating, unauthorized modifications or repairs, or damage from improper battery use. If your device stops functioning correctly under normal use, contact us and we will make it right.
