Milestones
From a single night vision device built by hand in 2008 to a full-spectrum optics manufacturer trusted by hunters, armed forces, and professionals across two continents — this is the Night Pearl story.
Night Pearl's founding engineers complete the NP-22 — a Gen 2+ night vision clip-on adapter built for hunters. The first step toward a complete Czech-made optics brand.
The Night Pearl brand is officially established in the Czech Republic — focused on night vision optics for the hunting segment. The brand quickly gains popularity across Europe.
Night Pearl begins distributing FLIR products — bringing thermal imaging to the European hunting market and building the foundation for Night Pearl's own thermal expertise.
Night Pearl launches the IR510 — its first thermal imaging device designed and produced under its own brand. The transition from distributor to full manufacturer begins.
Night Pearl delivers night vision equipment to the Czech Armed Forces as a subcontractor — validating the quality and reliability of its products at defense level.
Night Pearl moves into a purpose-built facility in Bystřice pod Hostýnem — housing a full R&D center, optical and electro-optical production lines, and an on-site shooting range for immediate testing. Partially supported by EU funds.
Night Pearl unveils the SEER — the first thermal clip-on adapter requiring no re-zeroing after mounting. Presented at IWA OutdoorClassics Nuremberg, it redefines how hunters convert day scopes for thermal use.
Night Pearl undergoes a complete redesign of its brand identity, logo, and visual language — establishing the modern premium aesthetic still in use today. The same year, Night Pearl delivers thermal systems for COVID-19 temperature screening across Europe.
Senior engineers from Meopta Optika Přerov join Night Pearl — bringing expertise in product management, manufacturing, quality control, production technology, and optical instrument design.
Night Pearl partners with Koncern — a leading Prague-based industrial design studio renowned across Central Europe. Koncern creates the visual identity for flagship lines: HARPIA, MANUL, VULTURIS.
Night Pearl debuts at SHOT Show Las Vegas. Night Pearl USA officially launches in Sarasota, Florida — bringing Czech-engineered optics to the American market with US stock and direct support.
The MANUL daytime riflescope series receives the Red Dot Design Award. Night Pearl also launches the HARPIA — its most powerful thermal riflescope ever built.
Night Pearl expands with the HH series — thermal riflescopes and clip-ons with outstanding image quality, shutterless sensor technology, simple operation, and an accessible price.
