Description:
AVAILABLE - September 2026
The Night Pearl Pocket 35 MAX is a thermal monocular that works as two devices in one. Its 35 mm F/0.8 lens gives 1.5× native optical magnification for reading detail at distance — and the image can be digitally scaled back to an effective 1×, which restores the natural, walk-with-it perspective of the Pocket 25 MAX. Run it at 1.5× to glass a field edge or judge a hog at 300 yards; drop it to 1× to move through timber without depth distortion. The 640×512 px, 12 µm VOx sensor with ≤15 mK NETD and the F/0.8 aperture — over 40 % more thermal energy in than an F/1.0 lens — hold contrast through rain and fog. Detection reaches 1,970 yards, effective magnification runs 1×–12×, and the device still weighs only 14.8 oz.
TWO DEVICES. ONE POCKET.
Most hunters end up owning two thermals: a wide one for moving, a longer one for looking. The Pocket 35 MAX collapses that into a single unit. Native 1.5× optics give you the reach — 1,970 yards of detection and enough magnification to actually read a hog’s body at 300. Then a digital step down to an effective 1× hands back the natural, no-distortion view you want when you’re walking a two-track at midnight. One device, one battery to charge, one thing to carry.
F/0.8 — 40 % MORE ENERGY IN
Aperture is the spec nobody reads and everybody feels. An F/0.8 lens lets over 40 % more thermal energy reach the sensor than the F/1.0 glass most handhelds ship with. That margin shows up exactly when it matters: rain, fog in a river bottom, humidity after a hot day. Same sensor, better picture — because more of the scene actually gets there.
WIDE FIELD OF VIEW — 66 FT AT 100 YARDS
Even at 1.5× the Pocket 35 MAX still covers 66 feet at 100 yards — enough to hold a whole field edge in frame while you read detail at distance. Step it down to an effective 1× and the view opens up further for walking. Most 35 mm handhelds make you choose between reach and awareness. This one doesn’t.
THREE CONTROLS. THAT’S THE WHOLE INTERFACE.
Power button, rotary knob, photo/confirm button. That is the entire interface. Everything the device does runs through three controls you can tell apart by feel, sized to work with gloves on and placed so your hand doesn’t have to search in the dark. No menu diving, no memorised button combinations, no screen light on your face while you work out which palette you’re in. Pick it up, switch it on, use it — and keep your eyes on the field instead of on the device.
SHUTTERLESS. NO CLICK, NO BLACKOUT.
Most thermals recalibrate by closing an internal shutter — the image freezes for a moment and the device makes an audible click. It always happens at the wrong time: the animal steps out, the shutter fires, and you lose both the picture and the element of surprise. The Pocket 35 MAX calibrates without a mechanical shutter. No click, no frozen frame, no blackout while game is moving. It also means one less moving part to fail in cold, wet or dusty conditions.
Pocket 35 MAX — More Reach, Without Giving Up the Walk
The Night Pearl Pocket 35 MAX extends the Pocket line with a 35 mm F/0.8 objective and 1.5× native optics, then hands back the wide 1× perspective through digital scaling. Two use cases, one pocket-sized body.

Built by Hunters. For Hunters.
We didn’t build Night Pearl in a boardroom. We built it in the field — because we’ve been hunters our whole lives and we know exactly what you need out there. Every season, we listen. Every season, we improve. That’s our promise to this community.
